During the interview, Shirley said there was a “BOLO” (be on the lookout) related to his safety and claimed he had been told there were “bounties” on him in Minnesota as a result of his reporting, which he said has reached roughly 120 million views across platforms. Shirley said the situation has limited his ability to move freely, adding, “People are so upset… they know their time is up… I can’t reveal too much.”
