(New York, NY) – President Donald Trump has pardoned Texas Democratic Congressman Henry Cuellar. Trump says that the bribery case against Cuellar and his wife is an example of the weaponization of the Department of Justice under the previous Biden administration. Trump shared a letter from Cuellar’s daughters on Truth Social:
Trump, in a separate post, then went after Cuellar for his decision to run for re-election as a Democrat. Trump said the move shows a lack of loyalty. He promised next time: “no more Mr. Nice guy!”
