Why Is Tim Walz Crashing Out?

(New York, NY) – It’s been a rough few days for Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. With his state seemingly inundated with cases of fraud — surrounding members of the Somali immigrant community — Walz was blasted by President Trump for overseeing such unchecked, damaging immigration.

Trump went so far as to call Walz “seriously retarded” and added “something (is) wrong with him.” And with hundreds of thousands of Somali immigrants now calling Minnesota home — and a stunning level of fraud seemingly involved — it’s fair to wonder what Walz has been thinking.

Suffice it to say — he’s very focused on what President Trump said. Responding to Trump’s comments, Walz said: “This creates danger. And, I’ll tell you what — in my time on this. (shakes head, frowns) I’d never seen this before. People driving by my house and using the R-word, in front of people. This is shameful. And I have yet to see, an elected official, a Republican elected official say, ‘you’re right. that’s shameful.’ He should not say it. So look, I’m worried. We know how these things go. They start with taunts, they turn to violence.”

It’s rather silly to hear Walz act so indignant at the word “retarded” — considering it was used as common parlance for hundreds of years, and only recently become “not politically correct.” But it’s also understandable why he’d try to play the victim with so much bad press headed his way. Upwards of 78 defendants have been arrested in Minnesota for scandals tied to meal programs and fraud. Total losses to taxpayers in that state may exceed $1 billion. And yet reports say Walz ignored whistleblower reports that demanded action be taken about the fraud.

But — the R-word, Walz says! Words are violence! Suffice it to say taxpayers in Minnesota are a lot more worried about losing a billion dollars to fraud and theft than they are about a “bad word.”
