Damn, Newsom — Doesn’t That Hurt?

(New York, NY) — We’ve all seen California Governor Gavin Newsom’s social media feeds. He’s a certified ball breaker. But this is a bit ridiculous. Men across the nation are saying “ouch” while looking at photos of Newsom’s recent “testicle crushing” seating technique he put on display, while sitting cross-legged on stage.

It may have been “deflating” for Newsom to see what Hollywood actress Halle Berry said he was a poor choice for president in 2028 — but this “crushing” incident is the more immediate area of focus. It happened on Thursday, December 4, while participating in a New York Times Dealbook Summit interview. Newsom sat cross-legged while being interviewed — in an unusually right, high-legged pose.

Many men observing the photos could barely stand to look. Ouch! Many said. On social media the joke was that Newsom appeared to be aggressively “crushing his testicles.” A post that received a lot of attention — being shared widely — said “I have never seen a man crush his testicles harder.” Others considered the pose suspicious and worthy of skepticism: “Never trust anyone that sits like that.”

Still, some speculated Newsom was making a statement with his pose, as there was the suggestion the governor did it to match a feeling of being “emasculated.” It appears likely the moment will be memed into oblivion for years to come.
