(New York, NY) — Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says three of his New York offices were targets of bomb threats.
The Senate’s top Democrat says his offices in Rochester, Binghamton and Long Island received emailed bomb threats on Monday, December 1stt. They came in an email entitled “MAGA” and claimed that the 2020 presidential election had been rigged.
Security sweeps were conducted and no explosives were found. Schumer released a statement saying these kinds of violent threats have “absolutely no place in our political system.”
