(New York, NY) — From uptown to downtown, across the five boroughs, the entire New York City region, and the country, WABC Radio and its owners, John and Margo Catsimatidis, support the diverse communities that make up America.

On Saturday, November 23, WABC Radio & The WABC Radio Foundation handed out turkeys to families in need at the Police Athletic League’s (PAL) Harlem Center. By the end of the holiday season, WABC Radio will have dispersed a total of 10,000 turkeys through community-minded organizations, including PAL and the New York Police and Firefighters Departments, among others.

The following day, Sunday, WABC Radio and the Catsimatidis family supported the Gong Family Foundation and the US-China Cultural Foundation to promote cross-cultural understanding through world-class music and cultural programs at Carnegie Hall.

“We are devoted to helping communities achieve their goals, whether it’s a Thanksgiving dinner or a deeper understanding of the varied cultures that make up our country,” said Catsimatidis. “Margo and I believe in giving back, and we are committed to the people of New York, where we are headquartered, and America.”

Catsimatidis, who is Chairman of PAL, added, “PAL serves 29,000 kids in the inner city. These children and teens need mentoring to ensure their success.”
