(Washington, DC) — Funeral services for former Vice President Dick Cheney are set for Thursday, November 20th in the nation’s capital. It is scheduled to begin at 11:30am at the Washington National Cathedral.

The nation’s 46th vice president passed away earlier this month at the age of 84 due to complications from pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease.

Tributes are planned from former President George W. Bush, Cheney’s daughter former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, his grandchildren and others. Cheney served as vice president during the Bush administration from 2001 to 2009, and he’s credited for helping to lead the country’s “war on terror.”
