Peter King, Republican congressman from New York, speaks to the media in the lobby of Trump Tower in Manhattan, New York
(New York, NY) — After nine months of not speaking after an on-air disagreement, former New York Congressman Peter King returned to the “Sid and Friends in the Morning” on November 19th. King started the reunion by saying, “So what have you been up to lately?” He added, “It’s over and done with and here we are!”
The two quickly put their differences behind them and started speaking politics. The big topic of discussion was the possibility of Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman’s run for governor of New York. Rosenberg said nothing happens on Long Island without King’s blessing. Rosenberg asked, “Does Bruce Blakeman have your blessing to run for governor?”
King responded that he’s spoken to Bruce and “supports him if he runs.” He added, “He’s a great friend and has been a close friend in good times and bad. I think he’d be a great governor and he has the executive experience.”
