(New York, NY) – Members of the House of Representatives will meet this coming week to vote on the full release of files from the Department of Justice related to the late, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The official vote will take place on Tuesday. It comes after a discharge petition reached the full signature requirement of 218 with the swearing in of Arizona Rep. Adelita Grijalva. The discharge petition forces a full vote on a measure that has been tabled by the Speaker of the House.

Emails were released this past week, reigniting calls for a full release of the files. President Trump was mentioned in several conversations. In response, Trump is dismissing allegations that he had a close relationship with Epstein. Trump maintains the Epstein story is all a hoax by democrats.
