(New York, NY)  -An annual holiday favorite that show cases trains and New York City  is opening November 15th in the Bronx. The Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden is a winter wonderland of New York City landmarks made of wood ships, bark, leaves and plant materials. Model trains travel over famous bridges and through familiar city settings, bringing nearly 200 twinkling landmark replicas—including new surprises for 2025/2026—to life under the glass of the warm and welcoming Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.

You’ll see miniature renditions of the original Penn Station, just to name a few, and one of the new models is the updated Delacorte Theater in Central Park.  Jennifer Bersnstein of the NYBG says “sometimes the models are a celebration of something that happened recently, like the Delacorte.”

The holiday train show is now in its 34th year. It runs through January 11th.  For tickets and information you can visit www.NYBG.org.
