(Tampa, FL) – Four people are dead and 11 others left injured after an alleged street racing accident. It happened early Saturday morning according to the Tampa Police Department. The crash sent cars plowing into a group of 15 adults. Three victims died at the scene while another person died after being taken to a local hospital.
Cops have ID-ed the driver as 22-year-old Silas Sampson. He was arrested at the scene and was taken into custody. Police had their eyes on the car Sampson was driving recklessly on the highway. The Florida Highway Patrol pursued the vehicle, but were unable to catch up so they “disengaged” the chase as they neared a residential area. The driver then slammed into the crowd.
