(New York, NY) — A massive new three billion dollar office tower on the East side of Midtown, Manhattan is now open.
Governor Kathy Hochul was among the many officials on hand at 270 Park Avenue for a ribbon cutting ceremony on the 60-story JP Morgan Chase building. The all electric building will have ten-thousand employees inside by year end and is part of a broader redevelopment of Midtown.
It’s one of the first major New York office buildings to be built after the COVID pandemic. The all electric building will have zero emissions. Rob Speyer, the head of Tishman Speyer Properties applauds JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon for moving ahead with building the office tower during the pandemic.
