(New York, NY) —  Who will be living in Gracie Mansion next?  With less than a month until election day, the latest New York City mayors’ race poll shows Mamdani still way ahead but Cuomo gaining support.

The new Quinnipiac poll, the first since mid-September, shows Democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani getting 46-percent support and Independent Andrew Cuomo attracting 33-percent of likely voters. That’s a ten-point gain for the former Governor now that Mayor Adams is out of the race. Republican Curtis Sliwa is still at 15-percent.

As for who’s got the right experience to be Mayor, 73-percent said Cuomo, 47-percent said Mamdani and 55-percent said Sliwa does not have the right experience. The three candidates will face off in a debate October 16th.
