(New York, NY) – Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50-months in prison on two prostitution charges. That sentence was handed down in Manhattan Federal Court after six hours of testimony October 3rd, including from Combs, who told the judge “I hate myself right now.”
The rap mogul called his actions “sick and disgusting,” claiming he was “sick from the drugs.” Fans of the rap mogul shouted support to Diddy’s mother as she left the Manhattan courthouse.
Prosecutors had sought eleven years behind bars while Combs’ lawyers asked for 14-months. Combs was convicted back in July of transporting two ex-girlfriends, including singer Cassie Ventura, across state lines for sex in what he referred to as “freak-offs.”
Diddy is also being fined a half-million dollars and will be on supervised release for five years once he leaves prison.
