(Bronx, NY) — The New York Yankees’ captain continues to make history. Aaron Judge tied a major league record Wednesday (September 24th) night after reaching 50 home runs for the fourth time in his career.
He later added his 51st homer in New York’s 8-1 win over the White Sox.
Judge joins Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa as just the fourth player to slug 50 homers in four separate seasons. He went deep 52 times as a rookie in 2017, launched an American League record 62 long balls in 2022, and crushed another 58 for the Bronx Bombers last year.
