(New York, NY) — New York City Mayor Eric Adams doesn’t think boys and girls should be using the same bathroom at the same time in schools. He says he believes that creates an unsafe environment and thinks many parents would agree with him.
School district rules say students must be provided access to facilities consistent with their gender identity. Adams says he respects how one identifies themselves but says he’s going to look into a NYC school policy that allows transgender students to use their preferred bathrooms and see what he can do to make sure boys and girls are not in the bathroom at the same time.
Adams says, ” “We have become so politically correct that we are incorrect.”
