(New York, NY) — Andrew Cuomo’s campaign says it wants New Yorkers to know that Democratic nominee and mayoral front runner, Zohran Mamdani has palled around with a social media influencer who has made controversial remarks about the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. The campaign says Hasan Piker said on camera that America deserved 9-11. They also claim there are photos of Piker hanging out with Mamdani. Mamdani’s campaign was quick to respond, accusing Cuomo of trying to politicize the terror attacks.

Meanwhile, a new poll finds the 33-year-old Mamdani crushing his opponents in the race for mayor. An Emerson College survey of registered voters finds Mamdani with a wide lead over his three opponents. It’s the same polling firm that predicted Mamdani’s primary win back in June. In it’s latest survey, Mamdani is at 43 percent. Cuomo comes in second at 28 percent. Republican Curtis Sliwa is in third with 10 percent, closely followed by Mayor Adams at 7 percent.
