(New York, NY) — A squirrel that interrupted a Yankees-Red Sox game is getting its own baseball card.
The frisky furry rodent ran out onto the field during the fourth inning of the game on Friday, August 22nd at Yankee Stadium, interrupting play. Then it scampered onto the mound and got into a stare down with Yankee pitcher Max Fried.
Now the Yankee Stadium Squirrel has his own Topps baseball card, which shows it scurrying across the field. It sells for $8.99 but the card sold out quickly on the Topps website.
