(New York, NY) – John Catsimatidis can add another line to his resume. The billionaire grocery store magnate, oilman, radio host, and media mogul has a new job title — actor. With Josh Safdie’s “Marty Supreme” coming out — the official trailer has dropped — and 77 WABC owner-operator Catsimatidis can be seen toward the conclusion, interacting with star Timothée Chalamet.
This marks Catsimatidis first role in a feature film. It also follows a notable cameo role from radio host Mike Francesa in Safdie’s 2019 film “Uncut Gems.” Clearly the filmmaker has a proclivity for radio hosts, well-known New Yorkers, and authenticity in his films.
The film will be out this Christmas.
