(New York, NY) – Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is reportedly at odds with members of the intelligence community as she claims to be exposing the deep state. A deadly pneumonia is apparently tied to contaminated cooling towers in Harlem. There’s also a final report on the implosion of the OceanGate submersible shining light on the situation two years later. We have all the stories to start your week:

Russia Summit Set for Alaska

President Donald Trump will be hosting a diplomatic meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the latest push to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. The meeting is taking place in Alaska this Friday. There are several reports claiming the White House may extend an invitation to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy as well. Previously, the Trump administration said there would be a meeting with Putin, but only after an initial meeting with Zelensky. President Trump believes he can get the two countries to make a deal but is not ruling out swapping some territory for lasting peace.

Legionnaires Outbreak in Harlem

Officials warning anyone with flu-like symptoms to get tested by a doctor. The disease is not spread person to person but through water vapor.

Russia Hoax Evidence

Head of the intelligence department, Tulsi Gabbard, says officials were directed by then-President Obama to create a fake intelligence report on Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election. This coming after Gabbard de-classified a House report from 2020 detailing those claims of a manufactured report. Attorney General Pam Bondi has ordered prosecutors in the Justice Department to open a grand jury investigation into Gabbard’s claims.

Army Base Shooting Details

Quick thinking and action helped prevent a mass casualty event at one of the largest army bases in the country. Six soldiers were awarded medals this week after a shooting at Fort Stewart in Georgia. Luckily, nobody was killed as soldiers rushed the gunman, identified as 28-year-old Sergeant Quornelius Radford. Officials have not released a motive, but several former coworkers claim Radford was a frequent victim of bullying.

Final Verdict in OceanGate’s Titanic Submersible

It took two years, but the Coast Guard is out with a final assessment on the submarine that went missing on the ocean floor around the wreckage of the Titanic. The OceanGate Titan Submersible was carrying five people when the ship disappeared. According to the report, the company’s CEO, Stockton Rush, is to blame. Rush was one of the five on board the vessel. Apparently, several employees warned of the dangers. But those warnings were ignored, and employees often threatened and fired. The report says the incident was entirely preventable.
