Who doesn’t love a parade? And who doesn’t love a trolley? Don’t see too many of those around.
Well, we’ve got one and, working with Red Apple Entertainment, we’re once again taking the 77WABC Trolley to the Columbus Day Parade, and a limited number of participating sponsors are coming with us.
Did we mention live broadcast? Yep, we did that last year, too, and we’re doing it again this year. Our participation in the Columbus Day Parade generated visibility, consumer interaction, and a sampling opportunity for our client, a gourmet food chain. This year, we’re opening it up to bring on more of our advertisers.
The 77WABC Live Broadcast Booth was manned by John Catsimatidis, Joe Piscopo, Curtis Sliwa, and Sid Rosenberg. Vinnie Medugno, who hosts a Saturday night program as part of 77WABC’s MusicRadio Weekends, serenaded the crowd with oldies favorites.
It’s really something to see listeners running over to the trolley or our broadcast booth to say hello to one of our air personalities. And while all that is happening, your brand, your business is not only gaining visibility it’s being associated with the joy of the day. Frankly, it’s all a bit overwhelming… but in a good way. A really good way.
