(Fordham Park, NJ) – Jets quarterback Justin Fields was back at practice Monday — after giving Gang Green’s fans a major scare last week. He hurt his right toe and was carted off the field at training camp last Friday – during 11-on-11 drills in Florham Park.
Trainers checked him on the sideline before taking him off for X-rays. Coach Aaron Glenn says Fields may have been stepped on. Backup QB Tyrod Taylor took over reps. But the team is counting on Field’s rushing ability to be a major part of the offensive attack. His health is paramount in that equation.
