(New York, NY) — More than 20 bus riders are nursing minor injuries after one NJ Transit bus rear ended another on the approach ramp to the Port Authority terminal in midtown this morning. Riders say the crash took place right around 9 a.m. They say the impact of the two buses shook them up. The FDNY says at least 29 people were being treated at the scene. One of the injured is one of the bus drivers involved in the accident.
Expect delays in and out of the Port Authority Bus Terminal as police investigate the crash.
Earlier this month, three NJ Transit buses were involved in a chain reaction crash on the ramp to the Port Authority. At least a dozen people were hurt in that incident.
