(New York, NY) — Nassau County on Long Island is the safest county in the United States. According to Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, the county was voted the safest in America three out-of- the-past five years. He said the county’s police department is big about service. In addition, the NCPD just opened a new training village where officers train in the environment “where they’re going to police.” There are also over 300 new officers added to the department in the last year-and-a-half.
Ryder says the county also has zero tolerance for antisemitism. If there’s any type of antisemitism, “there’s a full investigation into who did it and an effort to stop it before it gets worse and out of control.”
