(New York, NY) – Animal care centers are at capacity in NYC. Animal Care Centers of NYC is a non-profit organization. It’s the city’s only care center that will house any animal.
At present the group is housing more than one thousand animals — and the center is suspending further intake — due to critical capacity issues. An emergency of some kind could allow for an animal to be taken in, but overall — there is no available space.
Now, Animal Care Centers of NYC is sending out a urgent plea to all New Yorkers. If you’re willing and able to adopt an animal — now is when it’s most needed. Go to https://www.nycacc.org/ now.
