
(Florham Park, NJ) – The New York Jets have signed standout cornerback Sauce Gardner to a $120.4 million extension, making him the highest-paid CB in NFL history. The contract runs through the 2030 season. He posted on social media expressing appreciation. Gardner thanked his agents, teammates, the Jets organization, fans and God.
Gardner, drafted 4th overall in 2022, earned Defensive Rookie of the Year, two First-Team All-Pro selections, and two Pro Bowl nods in his first three seasons.
The Jets also just secured star wide receiver Garrett Wilson with a four-year $130 million extension – showing the team is committed to building around its young core.
