(Milwaukee, WI) – In a bizarre yet strategic twist during Wednesday’s game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers, the two teams finalized a trade while playing each other on the field.
Although the deal didn’t involve any of the players in the actual game. The Dodgers dealt outfielder Steward Berroa, a 26-year-old switch hitter from their Triple-A (Minor League Baseball) affiliate, Oklahoma City, to the Brewers in exchange for cash.
Once the trade was completed, the Brewers assigned Berroa to their own Triple-A team, the Nashville Sounds, and placed him on the injured list with a shoulder issue.
