(New York, NY) — Mayor Adams launched his reelection campaign outside City Hall on June 26th. Chants of “Four More Years” could be heard, as Adams addressed the crowd. The mayor said this is going to be the most interesting political campaign in city history. He said “It didn’t stop on June 24th. It started on June 24th and it will keep going until November 4th.” The Democratic primary was held on June 24th.
Adams took a jab at Zohran Mamdani who won the Democratic primary in the race for mayor. Adams said “They have a record of tweets. I have a record on these streets.”
Adams added his critics have tried to distract him throughout his political career. He noted, “No matter what distraction they threw at me, God has made the pathway for me to achieve. So you can call me all the names you want, but I’m only going to answer to only one- Mayor Adams. “
