(Washington, DC) – President Trump says Israel and Iran have agreed to a ceasefire. Vice President Vance confirmed the news late Monday (June 23, 2025).
President Trump posted on his Truth Social social media account “There will be a complete and total CEASEFIRE.” Trump adds this is an “Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR” and it “will be saluted by the World.” He concluded by saying God bless Israel, “God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD! ” Vice President JD Vance says Iran was forced to capitulate, adding the U.S. will broker a long-term ceasefire.
