(New York, NY) – A group of high school students from New York have earned national recognition in theatre after being selected for the 16th Annual Jimmy Awards. In all, 120 students from 55 regional programs across the US were chosen – including ones in Buffalo, Rochester and Schenectady. They will participate in a 10-day Broadway-intensive camp.
The Jimmy Awards is known as the Tonys for high school theater. The Jimmys offers huge scholarships and helps launch careers in the arts.
