(Brooklyn, NY) — The NYPD says the alleged arsonist who firebombed eleven cop cars in Brooklyn last week is an anti-Israel agitator with a grudge against police. Jakhi Lodgson-McCray is wanted in connection with causing 800-thousand-dollars in damage to those police vehicles. They say the 21-year-old has been linked to the “Free Palestine” movement and has been arrested previously for resisting arrest during several anti-Israel protests and for burning flags outside the Israeli consulate in New York. He’s also wanted for criminal mischief at Columbia University last September.

The NYPD has released videos and pictures of Jakhi Lodgson-McCray.

The vandalism took place last Thursday two blocks from a Bushwick police station. Police say Lodgson-McCray scaled a gate to the cop cars at a parking lot near Central and Dekalb Avenues, covering the vehicles with fire starters.
