(Bronx, NY) — The NYPD is searching for a Moped-riding chain snatcher in the Bronx. Police say the mugger has been ripping chains off victims’ necks in Bedford Park for several weeks now, targeting five people including a preschool teacher walking with her class and a woman who was nine-months pregnant. The brazen bandit even went after a five-year-old boy snatching a chain said to be worth 13-hundred-dollars.
His father says that his innocent child “shouldn’t have to worry about walking with his parents,” while the pregnant woman said police “need to find this guy because he’s really harming people.” Police have released video of the chain snatcher. They believe there are other victims out there that have not reported their run ins with the wanted man.
