(Las Vegas, NV) – A stunning shooting that unfolded on the Las Vegas strip has resulted in an arrest. The whole thing was captured on video that’s gone viral on social media. Two people were killed in the gunfire. And now 41-year-old Manuel Ruiz faces charges, having turned himself in to police.
The video shows a man wearing a white hat and sunglasses, arguing with a woman. Suddenly, he pulls out a handgun and fires upon a victim — offscreen. The woman immediately expresses her shock, yelling out, “are you f#&@ kidding me!? (screams).” It happened just outside the Bellagio Fountains. Las Vegas PD immediately took to social media to explain they had responded and that the shooting did not take place inside a casino. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Follow up reporting suggests that Ruiz was involved in some sort of beef prior to the shooting. Two YouTubers had a feud that originated on social media. Now, Ruiz faces two counts of murder.
