Aaron Judge’s custom pendant has been wowing Yankees fans for months.
(Bronx, NY) – A new, exclusive report shares the details on Aaron Judge’s shiny, exciting bling — which made its debut this season. The pendant — which Judge has publicly disclosed was a gift — is in the shape of a judge’s gavel, decked out in diamonds. And the New York Post has learned it was gifted by one of the team’s other sluggers — Giancarlo Stanton.

Priced at $12,000, the custom piece features more than 12 carats in VVS-graded diamonds, as well as three bands of purple amethyst gem stones. AJ Machado, of the Miami-based AJ’s Jewelry, crafted the piece — per the Post.
Both Stanton and fellow Yankees teammate Jazz Chisholm Jr. — who played for the Marlins previously — have been clients of AJ’s in the past. Apparently, Stanton consulted with Judge ahead of time and was told he didn’t want anything too big, or too flashy. The stunning pendant also has a personal touch — featuring the name of Judge’s daughter Nora, as well as her birthday. His wife Sam, the names of the couple’s dogs, and 2x (a nod to his MVP awards) are also included.
Of course, Judge’s last name lends itself to the gavel imagery. At Yankee Stadium, there’s a seating section known as Judge’s Chambers. And longtime Yankees’ radio voice — 77 WABC’s own John Sterling — would notably say “All Rise!,” when Judge homered. Appropriately, Judge started his own charity known as the All Rise Foundation — and so the gavel pendant is a nod to that as well.
As for AJ Machado and his jewelry business, being associated with athletes is nothing new. ESPN named him the most “well-connected” custom jewelry designer in pro sports as of 2011 — and he made the University of Miami’s massive “turnover chain” in 2017 — which the college football squad uses to celebrate big plays by allowing players to pose for the cameras with it on. Rapper Drake — a noted NBA fan — recently spent upwards of $300,000 on items with Machado, per reports. And Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. — well know for his “drip” or “bling,” has been a client of the celebrity jeweler for more than 10 years.
