(Dallas, TX)  — There’s a new law in Texas that’s being considered that could change the ingredients in snacks. The Today Show reports the law would require a warning label on many popular processed foods and drinks.  The label would read “not recommended for human consumption.”  The ingredients include bleached flour, sweeteners, food dyes and preservatives.

If it’s signed, Texas would become one of the first states to require the labels.  Meantime, the Consumer Brands Association hopes the bill doesn’t get signed into law because it would confuse consumers and prices would go up.
