(New York, NY) — Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks are returning to the East Side this year. Dubbed the largest Independence Day display in the nation, Macy’s is promising an unforgettable summer celebration.
The department store says the 49th edition of the show will fire from the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and four surrounding barges in the East River. With multiple viewing opportunities across Manhattan and Queens, a sponsored lottery for free public viewing tickets is set to be announced in the coming weeks.
The display involves thousands of firework shells synched to music and presented alongside live performances. The first bursts are scheduled to light up at 8 p.m. on July 4, according to organizers. People can watch the show on NBC 4 and Peacock as well.
