
NBA: Playoffs-Indiana Pacers at New York Knicks
(New York, NY) — The Knicks are still alive in the NBA playoffs. They led the whole way as they beat the Pacers 111-94 at the Garden Thursday night. They trail the Pacers in the best of seven Eastern Conference finals, three games to two now. Jalen Brunson led all scorers with 32 points. The Garden was rocking with Knicks fans chanting “Knicks In Seven” in the final moments of the game.
Bennedict Mathurin sunk 23 points for Indy.
There were Knick watch parties all over the city on Thursday night. The Port Authority, the Knicks and TNT set up big screens to watch the games outside the World Trade Center at the Oculus. Thousands of other fans were back outside the garden, and in Central Park where there was a huge viewing party at the Summer stage.
Game six is Saturday night in Indianapolis.
