(New York, NY) — A big hotel chain is voicing support for plans to put a casino in Times Square. Caesars Entertainment, SL Green, and entertainment company Roc Nation want to put the gaming facility between 44th and 45th Street on Broadway.
During a New York State Gaming Commission forum, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts President Geoff Ballotti said Times Square is the only location where a casino would blend in seamlessly.
It comes as Mets owner Steve Cohen got one step closer to putting a casino next to Citi Field. However, nothing is set in stone since New York State can only grant three casino licenses between New York City, Long Island, and Westchester.
