syndication-usa-today-422

(Chicago, IL) –A new collaboration between United Airlines and JetBlue will bring United back to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport as early as 2027.  United Airlines will be able to use JetBlue’s slots for up to seven daily round-trip flights. Parts of Blue Sky are expected to go live as early as this fall.

In addition,  members of both airlines’ loyalty programs will have more chances to earn perks. The airlines announced the new partnership called Blue Sky on Thursday. The carriers said it will give customers “new opportunities to earn and use Mileage Plus miles and TrueBlue points across both airlines.” Customers will also be able to book United and JetBlue flights on each airline’s booking platforms. Parts of Blue Sky are expected to go live as early as this fall.
