(New York, NY) — Justin Bieber’s wife is joining the ranks of young beauty billionaires. Thirty-one-year-old Hailey Bieber has sold her makeup company, which only started three years ago, called Rhode, to ELF cosmetics for one-billion-dollars.
Companies are scooping up these makeup companies, created by young superstars, in hopes of getting that young female demo who spend tons of money on makeup. This acquisition joins other successful celebrity beauty brands like Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics, which sold a stake to Coty in 2020.
