(Newark, NJ) — The latest issue at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport is a possible measles outbreak!
The New Jersey Health Department is warning about a possible measles exposure after a traveler with measles was in Terminal B on May 12th (2025) between 12:30p.m. and 4 p.m. Health experts say anyone who was breathing the same air as the infected person could develop measles symptoms as late as June 2nd.
They include high fever, cough, a runny nose, watery red eyes and a rash. The Health Department says if you’re ill and think you may have been exposed, call your doctor or emergency room first before going in, so they can take proper safety precautions.
