(New York, NY) – A federal judge is warning a lawyer representing the disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs to dial back the public comments, especially regarding the opposing legal team. A transcript of a meeting between Judge Arun Subramanian and attorney Mark Geragos reveal that the judge called comments from Geragos on a podcast “outrageous” when he referred to prosecutors as a “six-pack of white women.”
Opening statements in the trial are expected to begin on Monday. Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He has been behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. On Friday, lawyers from both sides will have the opportunity to remove any of the jurors for reasons they will not have to disclose.
