(New York, NY) — The Macy’s Flower Show is underway inside the Herald Square store and it takes a whole team to keep the flowers fresh. Around 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, team members with hoses in hand take ladders to reach many of the flowers that swirl around store columns and above perfume counters.
The watering each night takes between six and nine hours. The team is extra excited as Mother’s day approaches, as the flower show is one of the highlights of the store’s calendar. Other big events include the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the fireworks show on July 4th.
