(New York, NY) — A young man addicted to tanning beds is blaming them for giving him cancer. Four years ago, Jak Howell of Wales, who was just 21-years-old, was told he had stage three advance melanoma. He told doctors he had used tanning beds since he was 16-years-old five-times-a-week.
Doctors told him they were 99-point-nine percent sure it was the tanning sessions made the cancer so severe. Howell underwent surgery and immunotherapy before he was given the all clear. He’s now trying to get the word out to young people that they shouldn’t use sunbeds and cancer just isn’t a mole removed from your back. .
