(New York, NY) — What is the secret to being happy? Eighty-five-year-old Roger Rosenblatt says he knows. The author of “Rules of Aging” writes in the New York Times that his tips work at any age. His first tip is don’t waste your time thinking, “Are people thinking about me?” because they are not. Other tips include making young friends and joining a group.
Rosenblatt adds you should get a dog, because they’ll find you fascinating. He also says you should be kind to people and observe and appreciate the world. When it comes to regrets, he says learn to live with them. Finally, Rosenblatt says start every day by listening to Louis Armstrong.
