(New York, NY) — It may be hard to believe, but New York City isn’t the country’s dirtiest city. A study from HouseFresh, a publication that focuses on indoor air quality, claims Baltimore is the dirtiest city in the U.S. They base their findings ” from drinking water to littered streets and sewage disposal,” among other things.
Meantime, New York City came in at 17th place, out of 23, on the dirty city list, while New Hyde Park on Long Island was the “cleanest” in the tri-state area. By the way, Sacramento, California, scored 2nd place on the dirty city list, due to many sanitation complaints.
