(Kyiv, Ukraine) — Russia has unleashed another wave of deadly attacks. In one strike, a residential building in the eastern part of the war-torn country was hit by a drone. Local authorities says eight were killed. The attacks came a day after a bombardment of the capital, Kyiv, that killed 12 in what officials say was a strike from a North Korean ballistic missile.

President Trump says he’s not happy about strikes conducted by Russia on the capital of Ukraine. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the strikes were not necessary and came at a very bad time. He called for Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop the violence and added lets get a peace deal done.

Ukraine’s air force says around 70 missiles fell on Kyiv on Thursday, while over 100 Russian drones targeted the city.  It was deadliest attack on Kyiv since last July when nearly three dozen people were killed in a Russian airstrike that targeted a hospital and a residential neighborhood.
