(Wharton, NJ) — Drivers and business owners are facing more frustration! There’s now a delay in the reopening of Route 80 westbound in Morris County, New Jersey because of sinkhole repairs at Exit 34 which has shut down the highway since February 10th.
New Jersey DOT officials now say two westbound lanes will not be ready to be reopened until by the end of May. It was originally scheduled to reopen May 4th.
Two lanes on the Eastbound side are still on track to re-open Mid-May. The entire highway which has been closed by Exit 34 is still expected to reopen by June 25th.
