(New York, NY) — Earning 100-thousand-dollars in New York City won’t get you very far. According to a new report, a 100-thousand-dollar salary for New Yorkers, works out to just over 30-thousand-dollars of spending power after taxes.
The study from SmartAsset, a financial technology company, said living in Queens on the same salary gets you almost 47-thousand-dollars. Meantime, the cities where 100-thousand-dollars gets you the most are Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and El Paso, Texas.
