(Washington, D.C.) — Americans are expressing doubt that President Trump can fix what’s wrong with the nation’s economy.  A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finds just 37 percent of  voters approve of what Trump has been doing since he returned to the White House. That’s lower than any rating he got during his first term. It’s a 14-point drop since November when he won the election. A Pew Research Center poll also out yesterday found less than half are confident Trump can make good decisions about the economy. Almost 60 percent disapprove of the massive tariffs Trump has announced on nations around the world.

President Trump says money is about to be rolling into the U.S. again. He made the comments at the White House on Wednesday.  It comes as investors hope U.S. and China trade tensions may calm soon. The markets have been on a roll over the last few days, but are no where near what they were when Trump took office.
